About Hey Pearl!

Our founder, Jon, wearing a shirt with an LGBTQ flag, poses with his three dogs, each wearing a faux pearl necklace

Hi, I'm Jon! I'm so glad you made it to my queer, BIPOC, and veteran-owned business. Hey Pearl! started as a hobby. I used to design necklaces for friends and family, making each person a custom piece to fit their style. Before I knew it, my hobby had become my passion, and I was completely captivated by pearls. Now I sell my jewelry and use a portion of the proceeds to support organizations doing incredible work for the queer community.

Each piece is meticulously handmade with pride in the Pacific Northwest. Hey Pearl!'s mission is rooted in jewelry accessibility; I believe everyone deserves to own and enjoy high-quality, beautiful pieces. My goal is to balance value and quality to bring excellent jewelry to people at reasonable prices.

One of my favorite moments is selling someone their first string of pearls. The energy is infectious! This business allows me to spread that joy while supporting organizations doing vital work for me and my community. It's the perfect combination.

I hope you enjoy shopping and find your own perfect, handcrafted pearl treasure!

Here are a few of the amazing organizations Hey Pearl! supports with our proceeds:
